Chef Naka (Kiss Seafood’s head honcho) is creating the ultimate sushi experience, and it is a CAN’T miss for any true sushi fan. Hailing from a small island off the coast of Japan, Chef Naka has been creating sushi magic the U.S. for the past 30 years. Kiss is one of the OG’s of the Omakase game in the Bay Area. This means you will never have the same meal twice here.

Each Omakase plate is carefully crafted by Chef Naka himself. There are only 12 seats in the restaurant, so you get an extremely intimate experience. However, this also means you need to make reservations in advance. With sashimi and sushi so good it melts in your mouth, this spot provides an experience you’ll never forget.

Kui Shin Bo

This next spot is located in a mall. I know what you are thinking… “Sushi from a mall?!” Well, this isn’t any old mall, this is the Japan Town Mall, and it is home to some of the best Japanese food in the city. Kui Shin Bo is an extremely popular spot for locals, so expect a wait. While you are waiting, explore the other strange stores this mall has to offer.

Many of you have probably heard of the fabled Sushi Burrito. Well, here is one of the best spots to get one. Yes, there is the local chain Sushirrito, but if you want that good-good then Kui Shin Bo is the place to go.

Tenroku

Everyone remembers their first kiss. Just like everyone remembers their first conveyor belt sushi experience. It is a unique eating experience that will certainly stick with you. For those of you with eyes bigger than your stomachs, then Tenroku’s conveyor belt will be a challenge. This is because every plate that zooms by looks even more mouth watering than the last.
